190816 I am in Pamir. from Kyrgyzstan border to Murgab in Tajikistan.

The Pamir Plateau is high in altitude, but I didn't feel much undulations.
It was a vast highland.

I entered Tajikistan in the evening, so I was relieved when I saw Lake Karakul. When I arrived at the village of Karakul and saw a few bikes in front of the guesthouse, I was really happy. It was already starting to get dark.
After entering Tajikistan, there was a river crossing on the way to Lake Karakul. I was wondering whether to wait until another vehicle passed by. I thought it would be easier if I could unload the bike and make it lighter. However, I was not physically fit due to diarrhea, and I was not confident that I would carry it and walk in the rapids.
I decided how to walk with the engine running and with my luggage loaded.
I stalled on the way and was pushed by the water stream and almost collapsed, but I was able to withstand it with all my strength. I thought the trip might end for a moment.
After all, I didn't see any other vehicles while riding my bike from Saly Tash to Lake Karakul.
At the guest house, I played the river on GOPRO and showed it to other riders, but it seems that it was a small stream in the morning. It seems that the water will rise in the afternoon and evening.
I regret that I should have stayed overnight in Saly Tash.
The guesthouse on the shores of Lake Karakul was warm and overcrowded with European bike riders and a Korean female cyclist. The Spanish rider Ignio, who happened to meet again there, told me to come to another guesthouse where Ignio was staying, but I was so tired that I couldn't think of it at all. I stayed in the tent in the garden of the first guesthouse and ate dinner and breakfast at the first guesthouse. For breakfast, I was feeling sick, so I had the rest of the vegetable soup We ate at dinner warmed up.
As always, starting from the guesthouse is the slowest of all the guests. Immediately after departure, a single Korean female cyclist at the guesthouse was sitting in a strong westerly wind at the right end of the road, blocking the wind with her bike body. I was a little worried and stopped beside her. We greeted each other with a big smile and confirmed to her that she had no problems.
About 130km to Murgab. 4000m highlands. There is also a 4655m Ak-Baital Pass. The cyclist is amazing. Moreover, she is alone. I was impressed by the amazing scenery of Pamir and further impressed by her.
After that, I met two Japanese female travelers at the signboard in front of Ak-Baital Pass. I heard from the information at Sakura Guest House that there is a tour from the Kyrgyz city of Osh to the Wakan Corridor by Land Cruiser Charter.
I'm a little happy to be able to talk to Japanese women.
The DR engine didn't feel very high, and there was no problem starting, idling, or running. Was good.
I drove with Bun Bun and arrived at Murgab, but when I tried to enter the city, it ended and I made a U-turn. I found a guesthouse that looked good and got a smartphone sim on the market.

広大な範囲の高地でした。

ムルガブの街＝3,612m
次の日も、カルグシュ峠4.344mが続きます。
タジキスタンへの入国が夕方になってしまったので、カラクル湖が見えたときはホッとしました。更にカラクルの街に着いて、ゲストハウスの前のバイク数台を見たときは、本当にうれしかったです。すでに暗くなり始めていました。
入国の後、カラクル湖までの途中に川渡りがありました。他の車両が通り掛かるまで待つか迷いました。バイクの荷物を降ろして軽量化すれば楽かなとも思いました。でも下痢で体力がなく、担いで急流の中を歩く自信も無かったです。
エンジンを掛けたまま、荷物も積んだまま押し歩く方法を決断しました。
途中でエンストして、水流に押されて倒れそうになりましたが、渾身の力で耐えることができました。一瞬旅が終わるかもしれないと思いました。
結局、サリタッシュからカラクル湖まで走行中に他の車両を見ることはありませんでした。
ゲストハウスで、川の様子をGOPRO 再生して他のライダーに見せましたが、午前中はチョロチョロだったそうです。午後夕方に増水するようです。
サリタッシュで一泊すれば良かったと反省しました。
カラクル湖畔のゲストハウスの中は暖かく、ヨーロッパ人バイクライダーと韓国人女性一人のサイクリストで定員オーバーでした。そこで偶然再会したスペイン人ライダーイニオが、イニオの泊まっている別のゲストハウスに来るように言っていましたが、疲労のため全く頭が回りませんでした。そのまま最初のゲストハウスの庭でテント泊し、そのゲストハウスの夕食、朝食を食べました。朝食は、体調がボロボロのため、夕食で食べた野菜スープの残りを温めて出してもらいました。
ゲストハウスからのスタートは、いつものことですが泊り客の中で一番遅いです。
出発してすぐに、強い西風の中、ゲストハウスにいた単独の韓国人女性サイクリストが、道路の右端で、自転車で風を防ぐように、座っていました。
ちょっと心配して、そばで止まりました。お互い満面の笑顔で挨拶し、彼女に問題の無いことを確認できました。
ムルガブまで約130km。4000mの高地。4655mアクバイタル峠もあります。
サイクリストはすごい。しかも彼女はひとりです。
驚異的な景色に、さらに彼女に感動しながら進みました。
その後、アクバイタル峠手前の看板で日本人女性2名旅行者に会いました。サクラゲストハウスでの情報で、キルギスの都市オシュからランクルチャーターでワカン回廊へ行くツアーがあることを聞いていました。日本女性と話ができてちょっとうれしい。
DRのエンジンはほとんど高地を感じさせず、始動、アイドリング、走りも全く問題ありませんでした。良かった。
ビュンビュン走り、ムルガブに着きますが、市街地に入ろうとしたら終わってしまい、Uターンしました。良さそうなゲストハウスが見つかり、市場でスマホシムを入手しました。
このスマホシムは、ムルガブでは使えず、使えたのはドゥシャンベに近づいてからでした。ムルガブのゲストハウスのWIFIも使えませんでした。
