This is a review/overview of the Dell CRM3120-1667BLK 11.6 - Inch Chromebook. The review unit is the plastic and carbon fibre version that comes with 2Gigabytes of Ram and 9Gigabytes of SSD. Primarily marketed to students going to school and young people in general.
The computer is fast (obviously because it is ChromeOS) and it does most things the average internet user might need. More so, you can even find your way around light photo editing for bloggers using browser softwares and websites like Canva.
I also did a mini tutorial on using the Dell Activity light in this blogpost - (over a year old now)
There are various versions of this Chromebook available on amazon... Listed below:
2 GB Ram X 16GB SSD (Actually 9 after software) -
4GB Ram X 16GB SSD (Also 9GB) -
The best part here is you could easily get rid of ChromeOS and use linux on this. Personally i didn't bother because it's only a peripheral computer that I only use when I remember I own it but that might be a plus for a lot of people.
It is advertised as being Military grade durable... But personally I don't think I would go as far as calling it that. It's very durable.... But it will get very very damaged if not taken care of. Don't throw this under a bus and expect it to survive.
