I hope you enjoyed this DIY Primer Water just like the photo finish one from Smashbox 😍
Here is the formula I made:
3 tablespoons glycerin
5 tablespoons witch hazel
7 tablespoons distilled water (or more)
3 drops tea tree oil ( for acne control and oily skin )
Note: this primer will help your face products like foundation, contour, bronzer and blush smooth on flawlessly and look less cakey.
Feel free to tweak this formula to suit your skin type.
If you have dry skin, try adding 4 tablespoons of glycerin and an essential oil like lavender (which helps cell regeneration = great for dry winter skin)
If you have VERY oily skin, try adding only 1-2 tablespoons of glycerin, 5 tablespoons witch hazel, and at least 7 tablespoons of water. You can skip the essential oil for this formula.
For severe acne, try the formula I made. With a powder overtop of your makeup, that formula should smooth the texture of your skin and benefit and heal your blemishes at the same time.
