Distant Star - Anthony Greninger

I decided to write something for this one.
You are the distant star in my sky,
Always there to shine light on me when it's dark.
But there are nights the clouds hide you from me,
Leaving me alone to be my own light,
Leaving me to lay here wondering when I'll see you again.
So far away you shine, yet you still shine in my heart,
How can something so far from me, be so close to me.?
Will I ever be able to hold you?
Will you ever know how I truly feel?
You appear to be still, but are you shooting towards me?
Until I find an answer, I will continue to look up at you,
Because your light for me has not vanished.
You are my distant star.

Hey guys I really loved writing this song! Listening to it inspired me to dream and wonder and I hope it does the same for you. I hope everyone had a good Christmas and a Happy New Year!
I also have some good news! You can now find me on Itunes, Spotify, Amazon MP3, Google Play, Pandora, Shazam, Apple Music, ect. I uploaded the album Dreamer, but not like the one you got from my bandcamp. I decided to put my best tracks all in one, so you get 18 tracks that my fans all loved. So thank you guys so much for having motivated me for this long. I continue to enjoy writing and I'm excited to get more work done!
