The Independent School Alliance for Minority Affairs (Independent School Alliance) will honor outstanding members of the Los Angeles community at its annual Impact Awards dinner on May 6, 2014 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. Michael J. Richter, Managing Director, Lazard Frères & Co. LLC, will be honored with the Visionary Award; Loretha Jones, President of Original Programming for BET Networks, will receive the Impact Award and Peter Smailes, Headmaster of Curtis School, will receive the Founder's Award. Grammy award-winning recording artist and actress Brandy will perform; The Game co-stars Wendy Raquel Robinson and Hosea Chanchez will emcee. Beth Friedman and Nina Shaw Co-Chair.
