The Hypnocube. What can we say about it? Well, this is the 4Cube version, with 64 3 colour RGB LEDs (thus a total of 192 individually addressable LEDs) with 16 levels per colour channel. Therefore the 4 Cube can display 4096 colours!
Switch it on, and you get a light show that lasts for hours and never repeats!
There is a lot of technical stuff behind this toy, which is an 'after hours' project by Chris Lomont and Gene Foulk.
They started playing around with ideas of building a large LED cube back in 2006, and have just released their first retail product.
